Digi-Pro Digital Signal Processing Software and Computerized Electronics
 At the heart of all our Digi-Techtm family of products is our proprietary Digital Signal Processing electronics and software, Digi-Protm. Originally developed by our software engineers back in 1997, and over the years, Digi-Protm features and capabilities have been refined and expanded to become the cornerstone technology for our Digi-Techtm product line.
Digi-Protm is truly a revolutionary software product. Through a collaborative effort of PITCO technicians, engineers, managers, software designers, and customer feedback we have developed the most cost effective and user-friendly Digital Signal Processing System available to the pipe inspection industry - bar none! Since the mid 1990's, Digi-Protm has been an evolving product that has greatly improved with age. Not only have we learned better how to simply process digital signals, but hardware and digital buses have improved dramatically in the same time frame. The point is, while others were on the sideline, we were in the trenches, working hard to improve your inspection quality through advanced technology. Just as we have advanced this technology over the past decade, today our attitude is no different. Continued improvements, and even more features and advancements are planned for the future. Through innovation and vision, our new M-Series equipment line utilizes industry-standard data collection and digitizing hardware from National Instruments. With this technilogical development we are able to now distribute the initial signal collection, immediately digitizie and pre-process the signals. By digitizing at the source and transmitting digitial signals (not analog) via ethernet connections, our equipment ensures the least amount of unwanted noise, producing the very best signals available for down-line evaluation with our Digi-Protm software. A contemporary rack-mounted PC or rack-mounted server with the latest features and technical specifications is provided. The computer operating platform is a Windows XPtm or Windows Servertm (depending upon your application). A large flat panel color LCD screen displays the test results for the operators’ evaluation. PITCO’s Digi-Protm software features an on-screen trace-like chart presentation with up to 6 independent charts of data presented simultaneously in an analog strip-chart display format. Depending upon system configuration, users may choose for up to 6 different charts for display and simultaneous operation: Each individual chart can display up to two (2) traces for transverse flaws, two (2) traces for longitudinal flaws, two (2) traces for wall thickness, and one (1) trace for grade comparison. The Digi-Protm user interface was a primary feature of our development team. Particular attention to detail was given to this interface in order to closely emulate current switches, buttons, functions, alarms, chart deck appearance, and data entry. Even the periodic running of the test joint is taken into consideration to help speed production. The result is a software program that operates just as the pipe inspector does today. Your inspectors will find Digi-Protm is familiar in concept and simple to operate. It is so easy to set up and begin inspecting. Most experienced inspectors pick up the operation of the software system within a day or so.

Chassis, computers, printers and LCD displays provide a state-of-the-art digital solution for your existing inspection equipment. All signals are collected, digitized and processed utilizing our proprietary simcardztm and our revolutionary Digi-Protm software. Everything is reduced to a single PC which results in the most responsive and reliable processing system on the market today.
- Digi-Protm Lite is software solution with limited hardware changes that replaces you existing chart recorder system with a computer, printer and an LCD display. All existing signal processing systems remains intact. Finished, processed signals are sent to Digi-Protm Lite for dislplay, printing, and stoarage of data.
